The Great Exchange provides schools, libraries, municipal departments, nonprofits, and businesses with access to new and gently used operating supplies, classroom and creative resources, furniture, and fixtures discounted 40-80% off retail value so they can invest more funds in programs, services, and jobs. On average 225 entities from 60 communities throughout Massachusetts and beyond make over 600 shopping trips to TGE each year to achieve significant savings.

The program also provides establishments with an alternative solution for items that cannot be used internally, which helps donors avoid disposal costs and prevents an average of 50,000 pounds of valuable materials from being trashed each year.
