The Great Exchange has been fortunate to collect resources from a variety of sources since the program’s inception. Organizations have donated a wide selection of new and like new supplies and furniture that would otherwise have ended up in a landfill. Donating these items to TGE helps businesses decrease their disposal costs and their impact on the planet!

Office Max Cleanout
Here are just a few of the sources we have been lucky enough to rescue resources from this year:
- 3 different retail stores closing
- An office supply store closing
- A local school remodeling
- Several small area businesses donating
- Even a roller rink closing!
One of the main goals of The Great Exchange is to help local organizations obtain the supplies they need at discounted prices so they can put their budgets towards more important things like salaries, business operations, and important community programs. Since the beginning of 2021, over 70 different organizations have taken advantage of the savings TGE provides including:
- 13 Libraries and Schools
- 14 Municipal Departments (8 towns)
- 20 Nonprofits
- 25 Businesses
The Great Exchange is open by appointment Wednesday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm (other times available by request).
